Mobile Oil Change & Fluid Service

An oil change is simple, but sitting in a lobby for it isn't a good use of your Saturday. Walter does the oil change where your car is parked, using the oil type and viscosity your engine calls for, and takes the used oil and filter away for proper recycling.

Because he's right there with the hood up, it's also a good time for a quick look at the things that cause roadside breakdowns: belts, hoses, battery terminals, and fluid levels.

What's included

  • Drain and refill with the oil grade your manufacturer specifies
  • New oil filter
  • Check and top off fluids (coolant, washer fluid, and others as applicable)
  • Quick visual check of belts, hoses, battery and leaks
  • Maintenance reminder reset where possible
  • Used oil and filter taken for recycling

Signs you need it

  • You're at or past the mileage or time on your oil sticker or maintenance reminder
  • Oil pressure or maintenance light on
  • Oil on the dipstick is dark, gritty or low
  • Engine sounds louder or ticks more than usual
  • You're about to take a road trip

Frequently Asked Questions

How often should I change my oil?

Follow your owner's manual or the car's oil-life monitor. Houston heat, short trips and stop-and-go traffic count as "severe service" for many vehicles, which can mean shorter intervals.

Do you do synthetic oil?

Yes. Walter uses the oil type and grade your engine requires, whether that's conventional, synthetic blend or full synthetic.

Will a mobile oil change affect my warranty?

Maintenance done to the manufacturer's specifications by an independent mechanic doesn't void a new-car warranty. Keep your receipts.

Can you do other fluids too?

Ask when you book. Walter can check other fluids and tell you what's due.
